New & Upgraded Bikes from Rondo: The Bogan and the Ruut

2020 Rondo Bogan Steel 29er Adventure Gravel Bike

Rondo is introducing their biggest new offering, the Bogan. This steel adventure bike is designed for loaded bike packing and features larger tires, longer and lower geometry, and a more durable frame. The Bogan is equipped with fast-rolling 29×2.1″ mountain bike tires, longer chainstays, and a lower bottom bracket for increased stability on any terrain. It has external cable routing, mechanical brakes, and internal dropper post routing for steeper trails. The Bogan is built from durable Tange Champion double butted chromoly steel and weighs 10.7kg. It has numerous accessory mounts and a unique lift handle strut for easy carrying. The Bogan’s fork is a new, lighter TwinTip 2.0 Carbon with variable geometry flip chips. The complete bike is priced at 2000€ with SRAM Apex 1 shifting and TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes.

2020 Rondo TwinTip 2.0 Carbon Variable Geometry Fork

The TwinTip 2.0 Carbon fork on the Bogan is the highlight of Rondo’s 2020 gravel bikes. It offers the ability to change the head angle, fork offset, and bottom bracket height for a customizable ride. The fork has triple cage/anything cage mounts and a new thru-bolt direct flat mount brake caliper mount. It also adds more tire clearance and includes internal routing for the front brake. The fork will be available on the new Ruut gravel bikes, allowing up to a 29×2.1″ tire on the front. It adds full fender mounts and 3-bolt anything cage mounts on both legs.

2020 Rondo Ruut ST1 Premium Steel Gravel Bike

The steel version of the Ruut gravel bike gets a new frame version for more comfort in the higher spec. It features curvy flex seatstays, a sloping toptube design, and horizontally ovalized toptube for increased comfort. The new frame also adds extra bottle cage mounts. The Ruut ST1 is priced at 2470€ with a Rival 1x drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes.

2020 Rondo Ruut AL1 Alloy Gravel Bike

The aluminum Ruut AL1 gets the same upgrades as the steel bike. It has hydro-formed tube shaping updates for improved stiffness and rider comfort. The new dropped and forged chainstay yoke improves tire clearance, allowing up to 700c x 50mm or 29×2.0″ tire clearance. The Ruut AL1 switches to a BB86 PressFit bottom bracket and has extra downtube and toptube cage mounts, as well as full rack and fender mounts. The AL1 is priced at 2000€ with a SRAM Apex 1 complete build.

2020 Rondo Ruut Ti Titanium Gravel Bike

The titanium Ruut has 700c x 40mm or 650b x 2.1″ tire clearance. It features lighter flexing curved seatstays and comes in four stock frame sizes. The Ruut Ti is equipped with the new TwinTip 2.0 fork and Shimano GRX 1x 10-42T mechanical gravel groupset. The complete bike is priced at 4500€.

2020 Rondo Ruut CF0, CF1 & CF2 Carbon Gravel Bikes

All carbon versions of the Ruut CF come with the updated TwinTip 2.0 fork. The carbon frames have improved tire clearance and new full coverage fender mounts and a bento-style toptube bag mount. The CF0 has an upgraded spec with Hunt X Rondo 30 Carbon Gravel tubeless wheels, FSA SL-K Light carbon cranks, and a carbon Easton EC70 AX bar. The complete CF0 bike weighs 7.8kg and is priced at 5400€.

All of these new and upgraded bikes from Rondo will be available in 2020.
